It’s about the present. We tend to live too much in the past or in the future. In the past, we live when we are focused too much on those experiences that were painful or happy. Because those the brain remembers. In the future is when we are worried about things that didn’t even happen.

I don’t think making plans is bad. It’s good. Because things change. Life has a tendency to change. Having a direction is important. But being fluid like water, that goes up and down as well matter. Every product has a curve like that.
People get disappointed when they don’t get what they want. This was the plan, right? Didn’t happen.
From here all suffering comes from. When you don’t meet someone else’s expectations they tend to be disappointed.
